Senior

Can you believe you have a senior already? Time flies! Senior photos are one of the more unique areas of photography to focus on simply because, each individual is unique and their stories are all vastly different! Some have plans to further pursue their education and some plan to jump right into the workforce and that's what I enjoy about doing these sessions. I get to hear about all the potential my clients will have as they grow in life. Read below to get a better understanding on how these sessions work!

How it Works

My senior sessions are rather simple. You want to make sure you get these done in a reasonable time for yearbook photos. Usually the summer months are prime for these sessions but winter time can also make for some great photo ideas. These sessions are all about you so it's really important to capture as much of your personality as possible! In order to ease some anxiety you may be feeling, I will connect with you shortly after you book a session. I may ask further questions regarding the shoot as well as other details about you. This is so I can get to know you a little bit more so when the session comes, it'll be easier for me to capture your true personality.

On the day of the session, if you want to, we can meet shortly before the session at a local café or something like that to just chat with each other. I would recommend this because it'll allow you to feel more comfortable before getting in front of the camera. Being in front of the camera can be really nerve wracking and a session can be tougher because of that. Meeting beforehand also gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better in person which makes us a better team in the end! When the time comes to start photographing, we will take a walk around the desired location and find cool spots to photograph. One example, Watertown has so many unique and historic buildings downtown that make for some really interesting photos. It is one of my favorite areas to photograph as the photo opportunities are endless! These sessions are fun and exciting (especially for moms!) and so expect the time to go by really fast. After all, time flies when you are having fun, right?

When the session is complete, I will address any questions or concerns you may have and I may have some other questions for you as well. I will remain in contact with you throughout the editing process and will do my best to ensure you have enough time (if needed) to submit photos for your school yearbook.
