Your big day is almost here, congratulations! Allow me to give you a bit of an idea as to how my wedding sessions work and hopefully that will ease your mind up a little bit!
My wedding packages include one engagement session for you and your spouse. You would get a specific number of images from the engagement session as well as a specific number of images from your wedding, all in one price! How it Works
There is a lot of preparation that goes into these sessions before the actual wedding. It is preferred that photography services are booked at least 6 months prior to the wedding. This ensures there will be enough preparation time for not only myself but for you two as well. This will also prevent any confusion on the day of. If you completed an engagement session with me, chances are we have already discussed the plans and preparation for your big day; however, if you haven't worked with me before, allow me to give you an idea about what needs to be done before your big day.
Booking
When you are ready to book a session, you will be asked to provide as many details as you can so I can get a good understanding of what I need to do to prepare when the time comes. I will be contacting you regarding the session(s) and I may also have some questions for you in case I need more clarification. We will also discuss what package you are interested in, what kind of feel this wedding will have, and we will also schedule a time to meet and greet in person. When we meet, I will first introduce myself, I may ask you to tell me a little bit more about you and your spouse, and then we can get into the goodies of discussing photo ideas, locations, etc.! Meeting in person not only gives us more opportunities to get to know each other but it also relieves a bit of anxiety you may have in preparing for your big day. The Big Day
When the big day finally arrives, depending on the circumstances, I will be working with the bride and bridesmaids before the ceremony taking photos of the dress, arrangements, and other specialties related to the wedding. This is your day, I will be with you to provide as many photos as necessary to make your special day extra special! As any traditional wedding photographer would, I will be photographing the events that take place during the wedding ceremony (The Processional; The Introduction/Vows, and most importantly, The Kiss). Lastly, I will be covering the reception after the ceremony. We can discuss more about specifics as well as turnaround time when we first meet prior to the meeting.
